It would rather be difficult to get through the dirty game of politics but for as long as your heart is in the right place and you know why you do the things you do and know who you do it for, the ordeal and sacrifices are definitely worth it.
When he saw the injustices and sufferings the Jews had to endure during the holocaust, he knew he had no other choice but to help. He couldn’t go against the system just like that as he had to work around it. He had to carefully craft his plan and his love for the people propelled him to press on.
He saved over a thousand Jews from the torment and death. He lost his wealth for bribing authorities just so he kept them alive. If one’s motivation transcends beyond wealth or money, the fulfillment is beyond measure.
