The happiest day of your life would be the day, you know why you exist. As they say, you will whether any how’s as long as you know the whys.
– Manny Pacquiao
Emmanuel Dapidran Pacquiao, PLH, also known as Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao, is one of the few who understood the essence of life. Life isn’t about material possessions, money or position but about love. Love to the One who gives, on every little things accomplished and to everyone around. He fought hard, not just in the ring, but in life and ‘giving-up’ is always out of the question. Manny Pacquiao fixed his eyes to the goal; achieve success and he knows who he does it for- his family and the pursuit to glorify his Creator. He is never afraid, after all his name is Emmanuel which means God is with us.
Have you found your mission? Who do you do it for?
Pacman Village Project Phase 1, over 1000 houses for the poor with a total cost of P28.5 million ($604,000) was funded out of Pacquiao’s personal funds. “Give thanks to God for what you have received today It’s a gift from Him,” said Pacquiao in a PhilBoxing.com report. “He’s just using me to help you. Take good care of this property and don’t sell it.” – Photo by: BuzzGhana.com
You will be a good leader if you lead, not because you are paid to, but because it is your mission in this lifetime. It is to serve and help people become successful at what they do. You wouldn’t see your people as people you work with/for but people who will help you become successful in your journey. Perhaps, boxing isn’t Manny’s mission but as a mean fulfill his passion- to help people in need.
